Print-to-order photos in any size from a third party feels disconnected and is a practice I would like to avoid if possible. I prefer art that is produced by an artist, and I like to produce my own work. Most of the prints available for sale on this page will have been printed by me in the studio. This allows for a heightened attention to detail and level of quality equivalent to that of a piece of handmade art. I have a preference for an archival fiber-based rag or fine art paper, over a more typical coated photo stock. The inks used are pigment-based and archival. The have a softer and more delicate feel, but are rich in detail and vibrant with color. They should last in their current state indefinitely if kept behind glass.

Most prints will be limited edition. Most prints will only be available in one or two sizes, as many photos look their best printed at specific sizes. You won’t receive a print size that is too large or too small for the image, or an image that is unsuited for the paper it is printed on.

All prints purchased will be packed and shipped from directly from the studio of Sanders Black. They will arrive hand-signed and numbered, enclosed in an acid-free poly bag, and then securely flat packed for the best possible shipping and presentation. Please allow 7 to 14 days for me to prepare, pack and ship your order. Money-back returns and exchanges are officially accepted for 30 days. Although if you buy art from me, it is effectively guaranteed for life. If your art becomes damaged for any reason I would like to replace it if possible.
